Hi friend, Yesterday we found out Beautycounter will be gone for quite some time - until fall of 2024 at least. This was devastating news for me, and I know many of you who use and love these products feel disappointed as well. Yesterday Gregg, our founder, shared that she has purchased the company back from the investment firm who bought it two years ago and Gregg is rebuilding Beautycounter from the ground up. Although I'm hopeful the new version will launch later this year, I'm not sure if the company will be the same. We've been told it will be driven by mission just like it always has been, and that is reassuring. However, we aren't sure if this new iteration of Beautycounter will include consultants like me. There are so many unknowns. While I don't have a crystal ball, so I can't say for certain what the future holds, I have every intention of staying with Beautycounter if and when it resumes. I feel like a rug was pulled out from under me. I had NO IDEA this was coming or that the company was in trouble at all. In fact the week before they paused operations, they had just shared a BOGO perfume promo with us, and I had an email drafted ready to hit send the next day. We were gearing up for a possible friends and family sale in May when the website came back. I am sad on so many levels. I fell in love with Beautycounter's products in 2019 shortly after Birch was born, and the company has become a huge part of my identity and online business. Since the beginning, I've been genuinely excited to link arms with a B Corporation that was advocating for change in the beauty industry at large. I was proud of the huge steps Beautycounter took to improve legislation in the highly unregulated beauty industry. Financially this will hurt, but what hurts the most is thinking about all the products I have upstairs that will eventually run out. I really, really hope Gregg can bring them back to life (especially the perfume scents that I now can't live without.)

Hi Reader! We've had a rather relaxing week without any travel or summer camps - the calm before the storm! Since Birch has recently gotten into his scooter again, we've been going to the skate park quite a bit. Mazen bikes and Birch scooters. It's great that we can walk from our house. We're hoping Birch takes interest in his bike again soon so he can learn to ride! Right now he's on a kid-size balance bike with no pedals (vs. training wheels - this seems to be the trend!) I'm really looking...
Hi Reader!Hillary here — I’m Kath’s assistant. 👋🏻 The other day, Kath asked me for a curling iron recommendation, which quickly spiraled into us swapping recent Amazon finds (as we often do). We have super similar taste and are always sharing home and fashion favorites — so she suggested I round up my latest purchases for you, too! I don’t know about you, but I love seeing what other people are buying (especially with a positive recommendation attached). Maybe I’m just nosey… but hey,...
